This wiki exists to catalog and describe different games that are available for PCs that are fit for use in libraries.

A prevalent issue with installing games on PCs is the use of system memory and resources, as well as the price of games. Fortunately, there is a robust freeware community out there, featuring titles that require either a small download or are playable within a browser window.

However, librarians need a guide they can trust when choosing games to install/open on a computer. They want to know what kind of game will be played and the nature of its content, including age appropriateness.

This wiki's goal is to amass a selection of freeware games across a range of genres and age groups, so that librarians can make their gaming software decisions more easily.
